Behind Koga Photos stands three friends living in Asian countries, all photographers. They were willing to develop a new creation space, allowing them to show this part of the world in a new light, far from the usual cliches about the region.
Coming from different horizons, Koga’s founders Fred Mery, Nicolas Datiche, and Xavier Andujar all have their singular vision of the world, of life, as well as their way of documenting in pictures what surrounds them.
That’s that difference of point of view that makes the collective stronger. From news and street photography to documentaries.
KOGAMONOGATARI Vol.01 (光画物語 Vol.01) is the first volume of a set of small books aimed at showcasing the work of each photographers of the collective..This publication features three stories, dealing with very different topics but nevertheless, aimed at giving a certain vision of Japan.
